Rain Check Educates 1000th Resident This Year
Posted on: July 01, 2015
Philadelphia Water’s Rain Check has hosted over one thousand participants at workshops this fiscal year, the first year since PHS and SBN began administering the program. These numbers have surged since April when we opened workshops to all city residents and for all the residential stormwater management tools (previously they were just for those interested in rain barrels). These workshops have allowed us to educate Philadelphia residents about the issues surrounding stormwater and allowed them to determine what Rain Check tools can help them contribute to the solution.
Rain Check is looking to add a contractor with experience and/or training in installing permeable pavers. Interested contractors should contact Chris Hershberger-Esh: [email protected].
