Innovative Stormwater Infrastructure Act Reintroduced in Congress
Posted on: May 29, 2015
Last month, the Innovative Stormwater Infrastructure Act was assigned to a congressional committee for consideration. The act prioritizes green stormwater infrastructure, through funding, partnerships, and research, hoping to improve water quality while creating jobs. The bill is sponsored by Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD) and Senator Tom Udall (U-NM), and could be introduced to the House or Senate if it is approved by the committee.
