Join SBN’s GSI Partners on Tuesday, October 23 at Temple University City Center.
As an SBN member and GSI Partner, you understand Green City, Clean Waters (GCCW), and the comprehensive nature-based vision behind it, is a significant tool that contributes solutions to some of the most pressing economic, environmental, and social challenges Philadelphia faces.
SBN is committed to ensuring its success.
As you know, GCCW has demonstrated significant triple bottom line benefits to date. With strong leadership, collaboration, and coordination between and within the public and private sectors, GCCW has great potential to accelerate the region’s impact economy and advance the local green stormwater infrastructure industry.
Building a collaborative ecosystem has led to our success in advancing this industry and these partnerships will ensure that we continue to build on this progress.
As a long-time partner to the City of Philadelphia, and active supporter of GCCW, SBN wants to draw attention to inconsistencies within the Philadelphia Water Department’s (PWD) leadership on the strategic direction of GCCW, as a nature based approach to stormwater management, including the negative implications of a shift away from it.
We want to facilitate this discussion related to these challenges not only because of our commitment to GCCW, but also to our members and to strengthening the resiliency of the greater community. We will capture questions, concerns, and feedback in order to continue our advocacy work on our members behalf and on behalf of GCCW.
Additionally, on the agenda are GSI Partners programmatic updates and structured time for engaging and conversing with your peers.
