Join SBN’s GSI Partners on Tuesday, April 24 at Temple University City Center to explore applications for innovation within the GSI industry.

 

To continue to expand vegetative SMPs and other green infrastructure projects within the region and beyond, there is a need for businesses, organizations, governments, and utilities to come together to innovate. While technology and innovative products certainly help with this, advancements in processes that help to implement, maintain, and incentivize practices and tools that take a nature-based approach to stormwater management are a necessity. 

 

With greater uncertainty about growth, urbanization, and patterns of future precipitation events, there is a growing need for communities to facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions to manage our ever-evolving stormwater management challenges. These challenges present stakeholders with opportunities to bring forward creative, scalable solutions and create entirely new markets through co-operative arrangements such as public-private partnerships.

 

The program will highlight how partnerships in the GSI industry are enabling a collaborative ecosystem across multiple sectors to deliver innovative stormwater solutions across the city. Presenters will also share examples of how a variety of organizations have come together to deliver and implement successful stormwater management projects. 

 

Additionally, on the agenda are GSI Partners programmatic updates and structured time for engaging and conversing with your peers.
